Meet Robert G. Hartford, LICSW, LCSW, CSW
Robert Hartford is an Executive and Organizational Coach and a licensed psychotherapist in Washington, DC, California and New York. In 2001, he founded Solutions & Results LLC of Washington, DC as an independent therapy center focusing on emotional development and transformation.
Education and Training
'Robert received his post-master's training at Systems Centered Training and Research Institute, trained at San Francisco General Hospital, Inpatient Psych and Kaiser Dept. of Psychiatry. He is one of four Certified EFT Therapists in Washington, DC and the only Licensed SCT* practitioner in the entire Washington, DC metro area. Robert became certified having attended Brene' Brown's first international training in London and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, (CDWF).
Experience
Along with the Valley Aids Project, Stop Aids Project of San Francisco, Continuum Services, Philadelphia Community Health Alternatives, and the Aids Information Network, Robert worked as Mental Health Practitioner with the County of Marin, CA, as a consultant to the San Francisco Unified School District where he developed and supervised the intern training program.
He has been a director and presenter for the annual international SCTRI Conferences and presenter at the International Group Psychotherapy Congress in Colombia, Rovinj, Croatia, and this year in Maomo, Sweeden leading courses on SCT Phases of Group Development with Dr. Ray Haddock, and Functional-Subgrouping an Alternative to Scapegoating with Dr. Susan Gantt.
In addition, Robert works individually with executives as an organizational consultant in industries including legal, medical, hospitality, banking, as well as various government agencies.

Verena Murphy, PH.D, LISW, LCSW-C
I have known Verena and worked with her in many capacities for more than 15 years. Verena is a caring, kind, and compassionate therapist who adds incredible skills, knowledge and resources to Solutions & Results.
Verena is very skilled in Systems-Centered* Therapy, SCT and will begin training in EFT for couples this year. She will be available Fridays and Saturdays, and accepts some insurances.
